Premiership Update

Beyond Pardon Collects Again

Beyond Pardon has extended his lead in the race to become Super VOBIS Horse of the Year. The Robert Smerdon trained 3yo was gallant in defeat last Saturday at Caulfield taking his bonuses for the season to $79,000.

Bonus Structure

 
Super VOBIS pays bonsues for horses placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in around 900 Victorian races for 2yos and 3yos. Eligible horses winning designated metropolitan weekend and public holiday races share in bonuses of $30,000. Midweek races carrying prize money up to $40,000 carry a $10,000 bonus and country races $9,000.

Nomination Fees

 
Super VOBIS nominations are due by 1 February 2010 for 2008 born foals in three categories.
 
  • Eligibility A - $660 "Victorian Sired"
  • Eligibility B - $1320 "Breedback"
  • Eligibility C - $1980 "Victorian Breeder"
