A: Refers to how many times this horse has raced, how many times it has won and placed second and third. Then it gives the horse's career prizemoney.
eg. 18 Starts 5-3-1. $62,650.
This horse has raced a totoal of 18 times and has won five races and placed second three times and third once. It has won total prizemoney of $62,650.
B: Refers to how many times this horse has run at today's distance, how many times it has won and placed second or third. Then how many times it has raced on a wet track, if ever, with the number of first, second and third placings in wet conditions.
The next set of numbers refers to how many times the horse has raced at today's particular track, if ever and whether it has won or placed second or third. T/D tells us if this horse has raced at today's track at today's distance and how well it has done.
eg. Dist 5-2:2:0 Wet 3-0:1:0 Trk 4-0:2:0 T/D 2-0:1:0
This horse has raced five times at today's distance for two wins and two seconds. It has raced three times in the wet for a second placing. It has raced four times at today's track for two second placings. It has raced at today's track and distance twice and finished second on one of those occasions.
C. This shows us the horse's form for its past five starts. The first two numbers indicate what position it finished in a field of how many. Then the track it ran on, the date, the distance of the race, the type of the race, the track condition, rider, barrier, weight, the starting odds, the horse that won or came second, the winning margin and the time it took to win.

This horse has come fourth in a field of 12 at Geelong on March 6 in a 1212m Class five race. The track was rated "Good", Wayne Hokai rode Bergamia, who started from barrier 9, carried 53.5kg, and started at $8.50 for a win. Satashi won by 2.8 lengths in a time of 1 minute 10.7 seconds.
D: The name of the jockey riding the horse today.
E: The barriers for today and the weight allocated to the horse.
F: The trainer's name.
