To promote OHS within the stables and training facilities of the Victorian Thoroughbred Racing Industry, Worksafe developed in consultation with Racing Victoria and a range of Industry stakeholders, Industry guidance material providing written and pictorial explanations of safe work practices. The guidance material titled “Horse Stables and Track Riding Safety” was launched with the support of the State Government of Victoria in July 2007.
