Jockey Chris Symons will swap his silks for his sweats when he participates in the Herald Sun/City Link Run For The Kids this Sunday, 14 March.

Symons is part of the inaugural Victorian Jockeys Association team, ‘Jocks That Rock,' which includes Brad Rawiller, Linda Meech, Sebastian Murphy, Casey Bruce, Daniel Schmitt, Jonathon Bowles and Dean Larsson. Larsson's 12-year-old son Andrew will also participate.

Symons is hoping he can keep up with Rawiller who is aiming to run the 14.6 kilometre course in under an hour and he took time out from his preparations to spend 60 seconds with Rebecca Elliott.
